I’ve been looking for days for a solution to this exact problem, i was very excited to see this, did exactly what it said but still having issues. Nothing will download, and itunes is not letting me add anything to the library. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is driving me crazy. Thankyou.

I had this error when trying to download a movie. Itunes on Windows XP. It was caused by my back-up program. I turned it off and it worked ok.

THANK YOU! I have been searching for a solution to this problem for 2 days now. My son’s MacBook would not let him download a track he had purchased on iTunes so we searched using Yahoo and found you. Thanks again for the fix, it worked perfectly.
