any tips on troubleshooting css issues on the emulator?

i'm accustomed to firebug and other tools, is there anything like this out there for the android emulator?

Jim – just be patient and it will start – I had the same problem until I looked around the web and came back and it was just the delay in getting started…

I finally got my emulator working. What I’m wondering is how well it works. For example, I use CSS to hide some elements for mobile devices. It works on my iPhone and the iPhone simulator. But, it does not work on the Android emulator. I don’t have a phone to test it with, so wondering if it’s valid.

thanks for this. i tried it and the emulator pops up but doesn’t display anything except ‘android’ (in plain text too). nothing happens when i click buttons on the “phone” how do you get it to display anything?
